Product Description For anyone who's ever wished to, but had trouble starting, keeping, or finishing a journal or sketchbook comes Wreck This Journal, an illustrated book that features a subversive collection of prompts, asking readers to muster up their best mistake- and mess-making abilities to fill the pages of the book (and destroy them). Acclaimed illustrator Keri Smith encourages journalers to engage in "destructive" acts-poking holes through pages, adding photos and defacing them, painting with coffee, and more-in order to experience the true creative process. Readers discover a new way of art and journal making-and new ways to escape the fear of the blank page and fully engage in the creative process.

Loads of fun! May 3, 2008 I have had a wonderful time playing with this journal. When my grandson saw it, he thought it was totally awesome, so I bought one for him too. If you want to go wild with your journal, try this one!
Neat idea... April 15, 2008 I love the idea of a journal that tells you how to "write" (read: destroy) it. It sort of reminds me of "This Book Will Change Your Life" by Benrik. But while it's a neat idea, it doesn't so much serve a real purpose... Just something neat to have on your coffee table, perhaps, or just leave on your bookshelf, as my copy will probably do.
Wreck This Journal March 28, 2008 I waited on my tippy-toes for this book to come in, and when it did come in, I pored over it like there was no tomorrow. It's a wonderful journal to buy if you are a very bored person or don't really keep a normal journal. The thing is, this journal takes time. I've only done like, 15 pages. It's just kind of sitting on my windowsill waiting for me to do something about it. So. If you've got a lot of free time, go ahead and buy this!! It's a lot of fun!
SOOOO much fun! March 25, 2008 I am having such a fun time with this book, a couple of them i'm not going to do because i don't see the point of glueing 2 pages together. so i just write random thoughts on those pages. i write on all the pages and look forward to mailing it to myself and reading it later on in life. i recomend for anyone with an imagination!
Refreshing March 24, 2008 I bought this book for my 10 year old son for Easter and it's so much fun watching my son's face when he asks, "You mean I can actually poke holes in it?" This is the perfect book for any age, but especially kids who are hammered with the "proper" way to act and behave. It actually allows them to have fun and do what they've always wanted to do but weren't permitted to. It's refreshing to find a book like this. This is what childhood should be like!
