I found the poetry in the book to be thought provoking and emotional. Some of the selections almost brought tears to my eyes.Even the smaller poems contained a great deal of emotion.
The artwork associated with each of the poems went very well with the poetry text.
I was especially pleased to see pages between each poem for me to write down my thoughts and feelings about each one. In other cases, I have had to jot down my thoughts in the margins around the poetry.
All in all, I think this was a wonderful "canvas" of "paintbrush" thoughts from the author's mind.
