1 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!   December 28, 2007

This item was a total waste of money--the battery required does not fit into the space provided--and the product has no suction. There are other products out there that do a much better job.

4 out of 5 stars Great for Spiders!   July 10, 2007

Likely wouldn't work for a lot of other larger bugs, but for spiders it's THE thing if you don't want to kill them. Sometimes you have to put the whole lip of the top onto the wall to get them to let go, but they always do eventually. Then, step outside and tap it against the ground and they pop out, scampering away unharmed. No mess, no bloodshead, just a gentle "Scoot" to our 8 legged friends.

5 out of 5 stars REALLY WORKS!!!!   June 29, 2006

I swear by this!! It sucks up most bugs in my home, works great on spiders!! If you wish you can release the bug back to the wild...It actually doesnt kill them. It can tackle heavier/ stronger bugs like bees and stuff, but make sure your batteries are fresh. Im so excited when I find a product that actually does what its supposed to do...THIS IS ONE OF THEM!!! They dont cost alot either. I actually bought back ups/ and ones to give as gifts. I hate having to smoosh a big fat juicy bug under a wad of tissues - yuk. I love the bug wand!!

4 out of 5 stars Get 'Em in a Window   June 21, 2006

THis is one of my favorite things. The 9v batteries do run down, so buy a pack of them or get rechargables.
If the bug is in a window, it's super easy to suck them in. You can't just "wave it in the air"--use it like you would a low-power vacuum cleaner on the floor--run it over the bug as it sits on the glass or sill of a window. I live in cow-town so I do the perimeter of a room, sucking bugs in every window (sunny windows are best) and replacing the cap when the sucker isn't on...I catch every fly, bee, wasp and hornet (and spiders, when necessary) in the tube together and let them fly free outdoors.

4 out of 5 stars Never had a problem   May 19, 2006

I received this as a present a few years ago since I hate insects. I have used it many times for ants and spiders. It has worked every single time without a problem. When the wand begins to have less suction, replace the battery and it works like new.
