How to Draw Pokemon by Tracey West December 28, 2007 The instructions on how to draw Pokemon are OK - info is very limited. The book is very thin and not worth the money. Was disappointed in it.
Worth every penny!! December 11, 2007 I bought this for my grandson's b'day. He turned seven, is very artistic and LOVES pokemon! He spends hours drawing either by himself or w/ others. If you have a child who loves to draw and loves pokemon this is the ideal gift for them!
Excellent for young and old! December 9, 2007 I bought this for my daughter who loves pokemon and has a bit of a hand coordination problem which she receives occupational therapy for. She can type faster than most humans I know, but drawing is a problem and so is lining up columns like rows of numbers. This book is perfect for her. It offers simply step-by-step instructions on how to create each character and involves nothing but simple line drawings, but forces concentration and improves eye-hand coordination.
Of course, the other benifit of this book is that you can use it to draw pokemon characters to make craft items for a child you love or make a custom made greeting card. This book isn't expensive and worth every penny. If you have a pokemon fan in your mist, this is a nice book that will encourage creativity and time away from the Nintendo!
Horrible "how to" book. Anyone that could use this doesn't need it. November 22, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I, of course expected the standard "how to draw (X)" book. What I got was a "how to put eyes on a very complicated shape" book. The first step is an already drawn pokemon with 3 or 4 details missing. No "draw and oval, overlap with triangle.. type thing. Just the pokemon outline missing a few features. Does not even serve as a trace book as the lines are faint grey, not a bold black.
At first glance looks like a coloring book.
If your child can draw the pokemon using this book, they can draw them using any picture.
An 8 year old's review November 4, 2007 It is a great book that has steps to drawing pokemon.it even shows you what some pokemon turn into! I think that this is a good book. you just have to look at the steps.
