great for beginners! December 28, 2007 I love this book, I took art lessons and could never draw a good picture but I got this book out of the library and my first picture was amazing! after a week I bought it and now I can easely draw most things in this book although this book is fun, after your done with it it seems like it was a little short, well anyway its a great book for all ages, buy it and you'll love it!
Quality Book! December 26, 2007 Wow! This book is such a value for the quality and content. Gave this to my 12 year old son for Christmas and he loved it. He couldn't stop reading it or drawing from it for the rest of the day!
Really Great Instruction December 14, 2007 My daughter is 10 and a very good artist. This book has given her a foundation in dragon anatomy and some of the details so that she can create her own now. Not for the beginner, but a terrific book for that next phase.
Funny and useful instruction October 15, 2007 I bought this for my son and I to use. He enjoys art but lacks confidence. The reviews for this book were good and after using it this weekend, I'm glad I bought it. We both followed the instructions and created our first dragons and my son was so excited. It is definitely a fun and enjoyable book that I recommend for other young artists.
GREAT HOW TO BOOK October 3, 2007 My kids have always been frustrated with "how to draw" books. I don't know what it is about how Neon explains things, but not only can they get the instructions, but the results are great! Conversational tone, can-do attitude? I'd expect something with two heads, four limbs and wings to be harder to draw than your basic horse, but they can do it! Brava!
